How I used Plain English for these blog posts

This blog consists primarily of two topics:

1. lessons in photography and photojournalism for school paper advisers, journalism students from grade school up to college, and participants in the district, division, regional, and national press conferences; and

2. spoiler-free synopses of Korean historical dramas and movies.

For both topics, I wrote the blog posts using guidelines in Plain English. Briefly stated, the goal of Plain English is clarity, not brevity. Through Plain English, readers can easily find what they need, understand what they read, and apply what they have read.

The Plain English writing guidelines can be used for any kind of writing — journalism, government documents, corporate communications, etc. For more information, surf to “Plain English, Plain Language or Plain Writing for government offices and private companies in the Philippines.”
